The Process Of Migrating To Canada For A Nursing Post

without comments

If you are an internationally trained nurse and you want to migrate to another country for work, you must first be certified by a provincial regulation body so that you can be allowed to practice in the foreign land. For instance, registered nurses must undergo a registered nurse examination in Canada. The country you have migrated to works hard in trying to ease the life of foreign workers so that they are able to be incorporated into the workplace.

Sometimes, due to the shortage of nurses, the evaluation process can be shortened to allow nurses to get into the system faster than in other occupations. In order to be allowed to migrate, you must have a job offer already since this can restrict you from being granted a Canadian work permit. The immigration sometimes consents to open work permits. The only problem with these is that they are not directed to a particular employer.

The immigrant is often granted a temporary work permit. However, the status of this work permit can be extended from inside Canada to allow for permanence. The immigration authorities work closely with the departments charged with skills development tasks. This department sends a letter signifying that the projected employment will not negatively affect Canadian workers.
