The other benefits of working nursing jobs revolve around what it can do for your career in general. When you are a nurse you will find that you learn not only medical and practical ‘nursing’ skills, but also a range of other skills. You might be responsible for instance for ordering in new supplies and equipment, for taking notes from doctors, for writing e-mails, for motivating a team, for keeping your working environment clean and well organized, and generally for a wide range of roles that fall outside of what you might expect.
This of course means that a nursing job in Canada is even more varied and interesting, but that is far from all it means. At the same time it also ensures that you are able to further enhance your career.
